The NL East's Atlanta Braves host the AL West's Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday afternoon.

Los Angeles Angels
Right-hander Lucas Giolito will take the mound for the second time in an Angels uniform. The first outing didn't go as planned as Giolito surrendered three runs on six hits and took the loss.
However, we should expect things to turn around sooner rather than later for the right-hander. Through 22 starts, he boasts a 3.85 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP.
Giolito's biggest strength is his ability to rack up strikeouts. He ranks in the 65th percentile or higher in both K% and Whiff% and his strikeout prop sits at 5.5 at FanDuel.
Over his past 10 starts, Giolito is averaging 6.7 strikeouts per game. In very traditional fashion, the right-hander utilizes his fastball to set up his slider and changeup, two pitches that boast a Whiff% north of 31% this year.
Atlanta Braves
The Braves are an absolute powerhouse, especially at the dish. Any pitcher who goes against them is usually in for a tough outing.
With that said, Atlanta is still susceptible to the strikeout. Looking at Wednesday's projected lineup, five of the nine hitters possess a K% north of 22% this season.
In fact, K% is pretty much the only hitting statistic in which the Braves don't rank in the top eight of the league. Furthermore, Giolito has had prior success against Atlanta, at least in the strikeout department.
